Hi,
I've got a SQL server machine that I'd like to move to the cloud. I've heard that it will perform poorly under VMware - will it work OK on your platform?

It depends. Our storage is as good as it gets - 15K SAS disks in a high end EqualLogic SAN so it's highly unlikely you will have an issue. However, some databases that are very large with high load can be better on a dedicated server. Probably the best route is to take a 15day trial and do some performance tests yourself - most clients are amazed at the performance of the storage so I'm sure it will be fine.
